153. 6 Steps To Bring Fresh, Energizing Life Force To Long-Term Goals That Feel Boring Or Mundane
Some of the biggest goals we have in life can't be completed in a week or a month or sometimes, even over the course of one year.
Many of the greatest goals we can set can take multiple years or even decades.
That doesn't mean they aren't worth pursuing. However, when you have a big goal that spans multiple years, there can be tendency for the goal to become stale, lifeless, joyless, and mundane.
It starts to blend into the background of the rest of your life.
You might experience more boredom.
Your motivation and desire to work towards the goal might start to wane because you feel like it's taking so long.
As with running the final four or five miles of a marathon, you can start to hit a wall.
You're feeling gassed out.
It can be enough to make you consider abandoning the goal altogether.
If you're experiencing this, then today's episode is the perfect resource.
In this week's episode, you'll learn:
- How to tell if you've settled into a place of apathy and boredom with your goals.
- Why some apathy and boredom with your goals isn't always a bad thing and how to use it as force for good.
- 6 steps for bringing fresh energy and renewed life force into the relationship between you and your goals or projects.
- A personal case study from Kayla's life on how to go through this 6-Step Process.
You'll also learn about some exciting upgrades happening on the show as well.
